I wish to take this opportunity to thank you for making our St. Bernadette’s community such a positive place to be.  Thank you for your continued support throughout this session.  It was lovely to see so many of our families at last night’s Drive-By.
You will have received communication from Falkirk Council following the announcement of John Swinney, Depute First Minister, on Tuesday.  I wish to reassure you I will continue to work closely with Falkirk Council to prepare our school community to re-open in August.  Further information will be sent to you in due course.
I wish to share with you a summery of amended 2020/21 School Term Dates:
Amended August Start Date
Wednesday 12 August 2020 – Pupils return
Amended October Holiday
To recover the 5 days from the amended August start date above, the October holiday will be extended by a further 5 days as below. These amended dates align with Stirling and Clackmannanshire Councils.
• Monday 12 October to Friday 23 October (10 days)

INSET on Monday 19 October 2020 will be rescheduled to later in the school session. This will be confirmed early next session. No other changes have been made to the previously published term dates.
